COVID 19 UPDATE

Our commitment to safe care

Remember to seek care when you need it

Oakview Medical Associates remains committed to ensuring a safe environment for our patients, guests and team members. We are following all recommended protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic including during the current surge.

Please remember that routine and emergency health needs don’t stop during a COVID-19 /influenza/ RSV /other infectious outbreak and delaying care can be harmful to your health.

You may have concerns about visiting a medical facility right now.

We want to assure you that our practice is taking every precaution to protect you and our team members.

Steps we’re taking include:

Screening all patients and team members for COVID-19 symptoms before entry.

Requiring masks for all patients and team members entering our facility. We will provide a mask if you don’t have one.

All team members are expected to wear a mask while in our facility, regardless of their vaccination status. This includes team members in non-clinical office areas when social distancing cannot be maintained.

We strongly encourage our team members to be vaccinated for COVID-19. We regularly assess vaccination compliance.

Social distancing in our patient waiting areas.

Limiting visitors in our facility by limiting to one non- patient visitor whenever possible.

Ensuring sick patients receive care separately either virtually or in a separate designated office area.

Cleaning exam rooms and equipment after each visit using our recommended protocol.

Virtual care also is available for routine well and sick visits. Please let your Oakview Medical Associates physicians and physician assistant providers be your guide for determining the most appropriate way to get the best care.

Thank you for your cooperation.
